DEDICATION

With respect
and affection

For three generations of Randolph students, the
name Cyril T. Powderly had many meanings. At
Stetson High, "C.T.P." enlivened his U.S. History
classes. He was also the baseball coach who led his
Blue Devils to many Hockamock League baseball
championships. Who, in the "new" high school, has
not experienced the booming voice, the wide smile,
the rapid step, or the tell-tale clip board?

It is with respect and affection that we, the class
of 1970, dedicate our Oracle to our Assistant Prin-
cipal, Cyril T. Powderly.

Mr. Powderly pauses for a mid-morning snack.

From 7 a.m. until late afternoon, Mr. Powderly is on the go.

I.Thoughts about the hereafter

(or . . . Is there a life after graduation?)

Seriously, graduation isn't the end, you know. It's just the beginning.

And it could be the beginning of one of the most challenging and

fulfilling times of your life. At New England Telephone.

It could be, that is, if you want a job with a challenge as big as

your ambition. We need people at New England Telephone —

all kinds. People who are sincerely interested in the future.

And who are looking for more from their job than just work!

Your starting salary is good and you get automatic raises.

You don't need experience! Your advancement is tailored to

your talents. And you get excellent fringe benefits.

II. See your Guidance Counsebr

She'll tell you when and where you can apply for an interview
to find out what the "hereafter's" like at
